NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the Board of County Commissioners of Adam County, Idaho will meet on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the hour of 9:30 am in the office of the County Commissioners in the Courthouse at Council, Idaho, for the purpose of holding a public hearing to review and approve the stated Ordinance according to Idaho Statute 31-715-715A, and 716, the county shall give public notice of its intent to approve Ordinance 2024-01, FOR THE PURPOSE TO MAINTAIN THE USE OF PAPER BALLOTS IN ALL ELECTIONS TO MAINTAIN ACCURATE ELECTION CANVASSING. ELECTRONIC VOTING EQUIPMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE PAPER BALLOTS AND OR RECEIPTS.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVE, That the Board of County Commissioners of Adams County, Idaho will meet on Monday, December 30, 2024, at the hour of 9:00 am in the office of the County Commissioners in the Courthouse at Council, Idaho for the purpose of holding a public hearing to review and approve the Building Code Ordinance 2024-2. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORDINANCE IS TO PROVIDE CERTAIN MINIMUM STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS TO SAFEGUARD LIFE, HEALTH, PROPERTY, AND PUBLIC WELFARE BY REGULATING AND CONTROLLING THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, ERECTION, ALTERATION, MOVING, QUALITY OF MATERIALS, USE, OCCUPANCY, AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES THEREOF, ARE COVERED BY THIS ORDINANCE, IN ADAMS COUNTY. THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE ADAMS COUNTY BUILDING CODE. THIS ORDINANCE REPEALS THE FOLLOWING: ADAMS COUNTY ORDINANCE'S 1977-1, 1977-2, 1980-5, 1983-2, 1986-1, 1988-2, 1993-1, 1993-2, 2001-2, 2003-1, 2005-5.

Adams County Announces Public Review Period for Hazard Plan Update
COUNCIL, IDAHO – Adams County Emergency Management started a public review and comment period for the updated Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. Beginning March 22, 2024, the draft can be viewed online on the Adams County official website (https://www.co.adams.id.us/). A paper copy of the draft will be held in reserve at the Adams County Courthouse for review. This public review and comment period will end on April 5, 2024.
