The Landfill is located 2 miles west on Goodrich Rd from Highway 95, just south of the Middle Fork of the Weiser River.
New Meadows Transfer Site
The Transfer Site is located on Transfer Site Road, about one mile west of New Meadows off Hwy 95.

**Transfer Site will only take 1 Yard or Less
i.e., Plaster, Drywall, Carpet, Pad, Non-Compacted Mixed Construction Waste, Brick, Cinderblock or Concrete.
**The operator/individual delivering construction/demolition waste (C/D) to the Goodrich Landfill or New Meadows Transfer Site must have a copy of the building permit to dispose of the waste at no charge; otherwise, a $20.00/yard charge will be required from operator/individual prior to dumping.

Items NOT Allowed at Landfill or Transfer Site:
Medical, Chemical, Radioactive Waste, High Pressure Gases, Explosives, Flammable Liquids, Corrosives, Poisons or Infectious Substances, Pesticides PCB’s, Asbestos, Petroleum contaminated soil, Fluorescent lighting and ballasts.

Recycling
Notice: The New Meadows Recycling Center will no longer be accepting any/all plastics until further notice ! Additionally, it will not accept any recyclables from Valley County !
Recycling Centers are located in Council and New Meadows. Council is open every day, 24 hours, 365 days a year. New Meadows is located at the transfer site and is subject to their hours of operation.
The Council Recycle Center is located at the intersection of North Galena Street and Boise Cascade Avenue.
Both accept cans (aluminum and steel), plastics (nos. 1 and 2), newspapers, phone books, cardboard, magazines, paper (white color, shredded, slick coating, mixed paper waste).
The Council Center accepts used anti-freeze and motor oil.
Jerry’s Auto Parts, in Council, accept used lead acid batteries without charge.
