The Adams County Road & Bridge Department has 3 shops - one in Council, one in New Meadows and one in Indian Valley. 11 employees are split among these 3 shops. The Road & Bridge department is responsible for maintaining 381 miles of roads through snow clearing, blading gravel roads, pothole repair, chip/crack sealing, brush & tree removal, sign posting as well as bridges, culverts, and cattleguards.
