Welcome to the Adams County Assessor’s Website. It is my responsibility and mission as your Assessor, together with my staff, to provide professional, courteous service to the public with regard to the fair and equitable valuation of all properties in Adams County, tracking and mapping their ownership and providing a vehicle licensing and titling service for the citizens of our County. The Assessor oversees the Department of Motor Vehicles. (For driver’s license go to the Sheriff’s Office.)
Idaho law requires that all nonexempt property be assessed at market value as of January 1st.The assessor does not set a value for your property. He or she just estimates what a typical buyer would reasonable pay for it on January 1st. The Treasurer bills and collects the required tax. For more answers about the assessment process, check out FAQs.
