Chairman Ferrel Crossley called the regular meeting of the Adams County Planning Commission to order at 7:30 p.m. on May 17, 2010, in the courtroom of the Adams County Courthouse. Chairman Crossley announced it was time for the consideration for the Blue Bunch Hills PUD. Bob Crawford gave a brief overview of the project. The commission members discussed paving the roads, fire suppression, and weed control. Gordon Keetch moved that the Adams County Planning Commission recommend to the Adam County Commissioners, that the Blue Bunch Hill PUD be approved with the following conditions: (1) A fire mitigation plan is in the CCR’s, (2) There is a stand pipe in the pond for drawing water out of the pond (3) Paving of the roads is negotiated with the Adams County Commissioners,  (4) A fence maintenance agreement is in place with all the neighbors, and  (5) Noxious weeds are controlled. Micki Eby seconded the motion, which passed, with a unanimous vote of all 7 members present.

Chairman Crossley said the next item on the agenda was an application from Bear Creek Lodge for a conditional use permit to rent snowmobiles and give lessons. No one was at the meeting to give the commission members any information so Bill Shore moved that the matter be tabled until the next meeting. Gordon Keetch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

Jeff Batten was absent.

Don Horton said he had nothing new.

Bill Shore moved that the minutes from the April 19th meeting be approved with one spelling correction. Jerry Lee seconded the motion, which passed with all 7 members present voting in favor of it.

Chairman Crossley adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m. The next meeting will be held on June 21, 2010 in the courtroom of the Adams County Courthouse if anything new comes in.
